Chillin’ Livingston is a community and visitor guide for the Lake Livingston, Texas area: one place to find somewhere to eat, a place to stay, a marina, bait and tackle, a boat rental, a park, a fishing guide and what’s happening around the lake.
Local first
We spotlight local community businesses, wherever possible. The locally owned places are what make the lake feel like the lake, so they come first here. In a few categories, like hotels, we also include well-known brands so visitors have every option.
Fair to everyone
Listings are free. Community Favorites are decided only by verified community votes. Sponsors and advertisers can’t buy votes, rankings or a better spot in the results, and every advertisement is clearly labeled.
Only nice things
Community Compliments are positive-only. Like Momma always said, “If you ain’t got nothin’ nice to say, well then don’t say anything at all.” There’s already plenty of places online for negative comments.
Accurate information
We build listings from public information and mark them “Not verified” until the owner confirms the details. If something is wrong or missing, owners can claim their free listing and fix it, and anyone can let us know.
